Limos and Dishcloths and Bunnies, Oh My!

Wow! I can't believe it's been soooo long since I posted anything. I have been really busy though. Here is a really cool dishcloth that I knitted with varigated cotton yarn from a pattern called "Darrell Waltrip" who is a NASCAR driver created by Rhonda K White. My daughter Cheyenne's fiance Mike is a big NASCAR fan but not a big Darrell Waltrip fan, so Cheyenne re-named my dishcloth pattern to the "Jeff Gordon" dishcloth. LOL. My mom grabbed this one, each one comes out different due to the varigated yarn.

I also made two cute crocheted "PEEPS" for my daughter Cheyenne for Easter. Her favorite Easter treats are Peeps so I wanted to make her some to keep. Since she is getting married this summer, she was excited to keep them for her new home to decorate for Easter. Here is her basket with her new bunny and chick friend made from Caron's Simply Soft. I purchased the pattern from Sally Ives and it was really fun to make.

I have made a lot of other projects that I will post soon. I also wanted to mention that my son Asa went to Junior Prom at his old school in Oklahoma with our former neighbor, Sara. They made such a darling couple. They both have such a unique sense of style and it was really cute how they both "matched" for Prom. I am posting a couple of pictures of them below. Asa 'almost' smiled...

Hi Bethel! I'm so glad you are now in the blogsphere.

Why are teenage boys so anti-smile? His date is adorable.

I'm so excited to hear that you are crocheting that cardigan for the shop. Can't wait to see it.
